DESCRIPTION -- Souvenir tea spoon from the Naval vessel HMS Norfolk. It is in a good condition and the size is 5" (13cm) long (click on the picture to see a close up of the item).

CONDITION -- Good
HISTORY -- HMS Norfolk was a County-class heavy cruiser of the Royal Navy; along with her sister ship Dorsetshire, she was part of a planned four-ship subclass. She served throughout the Second World War.

DESCRIPTION -- Postcard sized photograph of the Royal Naval ship HMS Ambuscade which is in an excellent condition.

CONDITION -- Excellent
HISTORY -- HMS Ambuscade was a Type 21 frigate of the Royal Navy. She was built by Yarrow Shipbuilders Ltd, Glasgow, Scotland. She was sold to Pakistan in 1993 and is still in service as the PNS Tariq. Ambuscade took part in the Falklands War and by the mid-1980's was suffering from cracking in her hull. She was taken in for refitting, with a steel plate being welded down each side of the ship. At the same time modifications were made to reduce hull noise. Exocet launchers were also added in 'B' position later on in 1984/5 and 3" launchers relocated to 02 deck midships.

DESCRIPTION -- Postcard sized photograph of the Royal Naval ship HMS Arrow which is in an excellent condition.

CONDITION -- Excellent
HISTORY -- HMS Arrow was a Type 21 frigate of the Royal Navy. Built by Yarrow Shipbuilders Ltd, Glasgow, Scotland, she was completed with Exocet launchers in 'B' position. Arrow participated in the Falklands War, and had the dual distinction of being both the first British warship to fire on the enemy (whilst firing on land forces at Port Stanley), and the first British warship to be hit by enemy fire, after being strafed by an Argentine Air Force fighter.[1] On 4 May 1982 she assisted in extinguishing the fires and evacuating the crew of the Type 42 destroyer Sheffield, which had been struck by an Exocet missile.

DESCRIPTION -- Postcard sized photograph of the Royal Naval ship HMS Fife which is in an excellent condition.

CONDITION -- Unused/Excellent
HISTORY -- HMS Fife (D20) was the first unit of the Batch 2 County-class destroyers of the Royal Navy. She had 'B' turret removed and replaced with four Exocet launchers in the mid-1970's. In 1979, HMS Fife provided assistance to the Caribbean island of Dominica after the island was hit severely by Hurricane David. She was under refit during the Falklands War and so did not take part in the conflict.

HISTORY -- HMS Loch Lomond was a Loch-class frigate of the British Royal Navy. The ship was named after Loch Lomond in Scotland. The ship was ordered from Caledon Shipbuilding & Engineering Company, Dundee, Scotland on 2 February 1943, and laid down on 7 December 1943. Launched on 19 June 1944, and completed on 16 November 1944, the ship was commissioned soon after

DESCRIPTION -- Wall plaque and cap tally from the Royal Naval vessel the HMS Jupiter where the overall size of the item is 12" (30cm) x 6" (15cm) and it is in a brilliant condition (click on the picture for a closer view of the item).

HISTORY -- HMS Jupiter (F60) was a Batch 3 Leander-class frigate of the Royal Navy (RN). She was, like the rest of the class, named after a figure of mythology. Built by Yarrow Shipbuilders of Scotstoun, she was launched on 4 September 1967 and commissioned on 9 August 1969.

DESCRIPTION -- Wooden barrel which was hand made from the timbers of the naval vessel HMS Sesame and has on it a plaque which reads: "From The Teak Of HMS Sesame". It is in a very good condition and a great find.

DESCRIPTION -- Postcard sized photograph of the Royal Naval vessel the HMS Kent which is in an excellent condition.

CONDITION -- Excellent
HISTORY -- HMS Kent was a batch-1 County-class destroyer of the Royal Navy. She and her sisters were equipped with the Sea Slug Mk-1 medium-range surface-to-air missile SAM system, along with the short-range Sea Cat SAM, two twin 4.5-inch gun turrets, two single 20mm cannon, ASW torpedo tubes, and a platform and hangar that allowed her to operate one Wessex helicopter. The County class were large ships, with good seakeeping abilities and long range, and were ideal blue-water ships for their time.
