DESCRIPTION -- A copy of original deck plans for the Cunard Line vessel The Queen Elizabeth II. It comes in two separate large size sheets and is in a fantastic almost new condition (click on the picture for a closer look).

CONDITION -- Unused

HISTORY -- Queen Elizabeth 2, often referred to simply as QE2, is an ocean liner built for the Cunard Line which was operated by Cunard as both a transatlantic liner and a cruise ship from 1969 to 2008. She was designed for the transatlantic service from her home port of Southampton, UK, to New York, and was named after the earlier Cunard liner RMS Queen Elizabeth. She served as the flagship of the line from 1969 until succeeded by RMS Queen Mary 2 in 2004.

SOUVENIR TEE-SHIRT FROM THE RMS QUEEN MARY

DESCRIPTION -- A large size original souvenir tee-shirt from the famous old vessel the RMS Queen Mary. It is in a great condition and looks to be almost new and unused (click on the picture for a close up of the badge).

CONDITION -- Unused

HISTORY -- Queen Mary sailed on her maiden voyage on 27 May 1936 and captured the Blue Riband in August of that year; she lost the title to SS Normandie in 1937 and recaptured it in 1938, holding it until 1952 when she was beaten by the new SS United States. With the outbreak of World War II, she was converted into a troopship and ferried Allied soldiers for the duration of the war. Following the war Queen Mary was refitted for passenger service and along with Queen Elizabeth commenced the two-ship transatlantic passenger service for which the two ships were initially built.

SOUVENIR PLATE FROM A CUNARD LINE WORLD CRUISE ABOARD THE QE2 JANUARY 3 – APRIL 15

DESCRIPTION -- A boxed souvenir plate from a six continent circumnavigation cruise of the QE2 in 1994. Produced in white which shows on it the Cunard logo and details of the voyage. The size of the plate is 6" (16cm) and is a virtually as new item.

CONDITION -- Excellent

HISTORY -- The famous QE2 liner retired from active Cunard service on 27th November 2008. She was acquired by Istithmar, the private equity arm of Dubai World, which planned to begin conversion of the vessel to a 500-room floating hotel moored at the Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. As of January 2016 the ship remains laid up in Dubai while the port operator claimed that there were future plans for the ship and no intent to scrap her.

HISTORY -- The Cunard Line is an American owned shipping company based at Santa Clarita, California with offices at Carnival House in Southampton, England, and owned by the dual listed company Carnival Corporation, PLC, headquartered in Miami, Florida. It has been a leading operator of passenger ships on the North Atlantic, celebrating 175 years of operation in 2015.

AN ORIGINAL OLD DAMASK WAITERS NAPKIN FROM THE CUNARD LINE

DESCRIPTION -- This is an item from The Cunard Line shipping company. It is an original as used on board waiters damask serving napkin. It has the company name and logo shown in the centre of the napkin and the size is 21" (54cm) square. It is in an excellent condition and is an early example from this shipping line.

CONDITION -- Excellent

HISTORY -- Cunard Line is a British-American owned shipping company based at Carnival House in Southampton, England and operated by Carnival UK. It has been a leading operator of passenger ships on the North Atlantic for over a century. In 1839, Canadian-born Samuel Cunard was awarded the first British transatlantic steamship mail contract, and the next year formed the British and North American Royal Mail Steam-Packet Company to operate the line's four pioneer paddle steamers on the Liverpool'Halifax'Boston route. For most of the next 30 years, Cunard held the Blue Riband for the fastest Atlantic voyage.

HISTORY -- RMS Queen Elizabeth was an ocean liner operated by the Cunard Line. With her running mate Queen Mary, she provided luxury liner service between Southampton, UK and New York City, USA via Cherbourg, France. She was also contracted for over twenty years to carry the Royal Mail as the second half of the two ships' weekly express service.

SOUVENIR STAFFORDSHIRE BONE CHINA DISH FROM THE RMS QUEEN ELIZABETH 2

DESCRIPTION -- Dating from the 1960's and in a pristine condition, this round china decorative dish from the QE2 shows in the centre a colour picture of the liner and the name of the vessel. The dish is bottom marked as a Staffordshire bone china piece and produced for the ship and is a great condition souvenir.

SILVER COLOURED TRAY FROM THE CUNARD LINE VESSEL CUNARD COUNTESS

DESCRIPTION -- From the vessel the Cunard Countess a silver coloured serving tray showing the vessels name and crest in the centre of the tray. This Cunard Line item is 8" x 6" (20cm x 15cm) in size and in a very good condition.

CONDITION -- Very Good

HISTORY -- Cunard Countess was built in Denmark and was prepared for passenger use in Italy. She was christened by Mrs Armstrong, wife of Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon. Cunard Countess began service with Cunard, after being registered in the Bahamas, and she became one of the better-known cruise ships to cross the Caribbean Sea and middle Atlantic ocean, becoming a regular sight at San Juan in Puerto Rico, as well as Miami and Santo Domingo.
