DESCRIPTION -- From the old soldiers/airman in wartime, we find a collection of superb hand worked handkerchiefs. This is a fabulous and most unusual set, with no doubt a little bit of history attached somewhere to each or all of the items. After so many years they are all still in such a good condition and were probably made for their wives and girlfriends, and they are as follows:

1) The Royal Berkshire Regiment. This piece shows very ornate work and is dated circa 1917-19. Size is 7" x 7" (18cm x 18cm).
2) The Royal Army Pay Corps. Probably the last example of this type of work to be found and is dated circa 1954. Size is 9" x 9" (23cm x 23cm).
3) The Royal Air Force. Shows a little fading but still a very collectable piece, which dates circa 1940. Size is 11" x 11" (28cm x 28cm).
4) The Intelligence Corps. Although printed on it is still a scarce item to find around and dates circa 1940-46. Size is 14" x 14" 36cm x 36cm).

CONDITION -- Very Good
