This item is an original framed picture of the old Brocklebank Line vessel The MAHRONDA, which is dated circa 1905 - 1920. It is a superb ‘hand tinted’ picture and was taken from the Company Board Room.
The vessel was built in 1905 and was sold in 1923. The MAHRONDA was possibly one of the first ships to pass through The Suez Canal. The size of this picture including the frame is 45" x 23" (105cm x 59cm).
The frame has some slight damage to the top corners but otherwise it is in good shape. This picture is a ‘one off’ and is a genuine article from The Brocklebank Line.
Because of the size of this item, it cannot be posted but requires collection. If a meeting point for a collection can be arranged somewhere in South East Essex, England we will gladly oblige if possible.
