A WW1 SOLDIER’S HANDMADE HANDIWORK SOUVENIR FROM EGYPT

This item is a First World War soldier’s craftwork souvenir from Egypt. The item shows on the front the Union/Egyptian flags and is still in a superb condition.

During this period of time it was quite usual for many of the soldiers to make items such as this as mementos for themselves or family.

This is a type of item not often seen these days, especially in such good a condition as this piece.

A SCARCE TO FIND TEASPOON FROM THE WW1 BATTLESHIP 'OLYMPIA'

This is a scarce to find silver-plated teaspoon from the First World War. It is from the battleship ‘Olympia’, which was the flagship of Admiral Dewer. It shows the vessel inscribed on it in the bowl section of the spoon. The size of the spoon is 4¼" (11cm) long and it is in a good condition.

A PAIR OF ORIGINAL MILITARY POSTCARDS FROM THE 1914-1918 WAR

This item is a pair of early military postcards from the early 1900’s of the 1914-1918 First World War. They were produced as a ‘send up’ of the Kaiser during WW1. They are of a British Manufacture and are from a series of postcards produced in London, England. They are unused and in a mint condition protected in polythene pockets.

AN UNUSUAL FIELD 'TRENCH' ITEM FROM THE 1ST WORLD WAR

This item is a cauldron shaped revolving top ‘ashtray’ item. This unusual ‘trench art’ piece from the 1st World War is made of a brass construction. It reads on the side: “Hezzanith 1914 – Air Compass 1918”. It is an unusual piece to find and and extremely collectable piece. The size is approx 3 inches (8cm) across and it is in a good condition.
